 After ramping up over 500 projects in Intel ITs 6,000 person organization in just over a year, Spencer Lamoreaux has picked up a number of tips & tricks to more effectively utilize MS Project & Project Server. These include special views, filters, VBA macros, and other general tips that have greatly helped Intel PMs be more successful. The first half of this session will be spent going over these techniques. The second half of the session will focus on the strategy and tools used to successfully adopt 100% usage of a complicated tool like MS Project Server. This includes a demonstration of compliance and performance metrics used to involve senior management and make expert scheduling a key component of the business.

Bio

Spencer Lamoreaux is currently the Microsoft Project Product Manager for Intel’s IT organization which consists of over 6,000 resources across the globe. He implemented MS Project Server over a year ago which now hosts over 500 projects and thousands of resources. Spencer has also personally trained over 500 project managers to utilize advanced components MS Project Server and is the foremost expert for Intel IT. Spencer has also presented his findings to Nike, Washington Mutual, and other companies per the request of Microsoft. He currently owns a private training & consulting company.
